About the Programs



iCarnegie is a set of STEM curriculum solutions that are designed to equip students develop technical, artistic and computational thinking skills, in addition to the 4 C’s (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity) needed by students to become leaders of the future.


With more and more jobs requiring STEM knowledge and skills, the iCarnegie curriculum is Optimus’ answer to:


-Schools and universities asking how they can best prepare their students to meet the requirements of employers in the most effective and cost-efficient way

In its aim to share its world-leading Computer Science curriculum to emerging nations all over the world, the iCarnegie curriculum was developed by distinguished faculty of both the Entertainment Technology Center and Robotics Academy of Carnegie Mellon University.


iCarnegie has three major programs: the STEM-Computer Science, STEM-Robotics, and STEM-Entertainment Technology, all of which are internationally-recognized and compliant with international learning standards. Click on the programs below to learn more.



PROGRAMS



STEM - Computer Science





an integrated STEM-Computer Sciences Program for Ages 6-12. More than just a subject, the STEM-CS Program uses a holistic approach utilizing blended-learning methods to instill 21st Century learning skill sets to students through Computer Science.



STEM - Entertainment Technology





A cutting-edge program that brings together students from a variety of academic backgrounds. The Entertainment Technology Program immerses students in the technologies used to design today’s most popular video games, and combines STEM with the Arts to create STEAM.



STEM- Robotics





A STEM Program that focuses on hands-on knowledge and skills building, taught through building and programming modern robots. The STEM-Robotics Program uses critical thinking and problem solving skills to solve problems set in real-world situations.



CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY



Founded in Pittsburgh, PA in 1900, Carnegie Mellon University is the only 20th-century University in the world's Top 20 Universities. CMU Specializes in Coding, Computer Sciences, Robotics, and other Technology-related courses, routinely ranking only among the top 3 schools in the world for Computer Science. CMU also serves a founding member of the Global Center for Urban Science and Progress, as well as the Global STEM Alliance.
